Hey girl hey!  I’m Heather: wife to my college sweetheart, momma to a sweet redheaded boy, and the heart behind Southern Quirks! I’m a color fanatic, gardening enthusiast, sunset chaser, animal lover, and firm believer that an iced Diet Coke can fix almost anything. Most importantly, I love Jesus and strive to spread the joy, kindness, and creativity He’s placed on my heart.

Though I now call Oklahoma home, my roots run deep with a Texas dad and Alabama mom — so Southern charm has always been part of who I am.

Before Southern Quirks, I spent over a decade as a portrait photographer and graphic designer. In 2020, as my son prepared to start kindergarten, I felt God nudging me toward something new. I realized I’d always loved helping people celebrate others through thoughtful gifts, flowers, and meaningful little surprises — and Southern Quirks was born from that passion.

Today, Southern Quirks is an online gift shop and pop-up boutique filled with colorful, playful, personality-packed finds designed to make gift giving feel fun instead of overwhelming. My hope is that every time you shop with us, it feels like stepping into your happy place.
